A gadget cache to lift the spirits without letting your feet leave the groundis a must for every geocacher! Look no further than this clever geocache in a quiet shopping center in Minnesota.

Placed with permission back in the summer of 2019, this geocache has produced over 200 Favorite points and was cleverly created by geocachingvlogger. This Geocache of the Week requires a tool that geocachers must bring with them before attempting to reach the summit and make the find: two 5/16-inch (0.7 cm) dowels, each around a foot long.

Once at the posted coordinates with the required tools, it’s time to open the cache and sign the logbook… but how?

Study the structure and notice the small holes on the sides. They are just the right size for the dowels brought along on the adventure. The puck inside the gadget must reach the top of the mountain to reveal the code and, ultimately, the logbook.

Serious coordination, patience, and perseverance are required to claim this smiley. Once geocachers have maneuvered the puck to the top and revealed the code, it’s time to open the locked compartment and sign the log sheet!

Note: Please do not insert anything into the cache that could break off or scratch its inside.
